France to build second EPR power plant

LE CREUSOT, FRANCE - France has given the go-ahead for its second new-generation European Pressurized nuclear Reactor (EPR) to be built, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said.

"In a few moments, I will announce the construction of a second EPR power plant in France," Sarkozy told workers on a visit to an industrial site in central France.
