Vibration batteries may be the future

- Vibration batteries may replace regular batteries.

The technology developed by electronics maker Brother Industries uses a coil, magnet and condenser to charge electricity. The Vibration Energy Cells produce electricity after being vigorously shaken.

Two AA-sized prototypes produce electricity that's enough to charge TV remote controls, the company said.
