SEL Builds New Headquarters in Pullman
PULLMAN, WASHINGTON - Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.(SEL) is building a five-story, 90,000 square foot structure along Terre View Drive, just a short walk south of SEL's existing facilities.
SEL founder and president, Ed Schweitzer said, "All parts of SEL are growing, and this new facility will not only give us the space we need, but also become our new front door."
"We are enjoying working with the architectural firm ALSC and the construction company Lydig on this project," Schweitzer added.
Jana Schultheis, SEL property manager, said that the project is on schedule, on specifications, and on budget for an October 2006 completion. SEL recently completed a 22,000 square-foot building to add to its extensive research and development facilities in Pullman, and a 10,800 square-foot facilities maintenance building.

The court did not rule in a separate case that focuses on a lease for a 1.6-kilometre portion of the proposed power line that crosses state land.
