Slovenian officials say a nuclear plant has shut down automatically because of a minor incident.

Ida Novak Jerela, a spokeswoman for the plant in Krsko, some 30 kilometres west of Zagreb, said the system switched off after power lines from the plant to the Croatian capital stopped transmission.

She says “there is zero risk” of radiation and the plant will resume its work “when the cause of the cut in the power line is established.”
