Indiana Michigan Power offers power outage text and email alerts
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – - FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Michigan Power, an operating unit of American Electric Power, is excited to announce that customers now have the option to be notified by text message or email when their home or business is affected by a power outage.
Customers enrolled in I&M ON THE GO – Mobile Alerts will receive a notification when an outage has been reported in their area and will continue to get immediate updates as I&M crews determine the outage cause and predict when power is expected to be restored.

By visiting www.IndianaMichiganPower.com and logging into their account, customers can enroll in power outage alerts and modify their specific notification preferences.
