ConEd says completes NYC electricity restoration
- NEW YORK, -- Utility company Consolidated Edison Inc. said it has restored electrical service to a network in Lower Manhattan that lost power because of last Tuesday's attacks on the World Trade Center.

ConEd said the restored area, the Cortlandt network, serves about 1,800 customers.
The company said it is urging customers whose power has been restored to minimize the use of electricity while work continues in the area.
