A delegation of some 60 Hydro-Québec employees, including 25 line crews and administrative staff, arrived in Wooster, Ohio, to help restore power to thousands of homes in the wake of Hurricane Ike.

Under an agreement between Hydro-Québec and several American utilities, American Electric Power Co. enlisted the help of Hydro-Québec to deal with widespread power outages in the State of Ohio.

Hydro-Québec participates regularly in such mutual aid missions to other Canadian and American electric utilities.
