The Electrium, Hydro-Québec's electricity interpretation centre, is offering a special program of activities for the March break. From March 3 to 9, film screenings and contests have been added to the centre's regular guided tour. And of course, all these activities are free!

At the Electrium, young people and their families "get a charge" out of learning all about electricity: its role in the human body, the origin of lightning, the secrets of the electric eel and how the earth's magnetic field works. And now, for the March break, the Electrium is adding on even more exciting activities:

- A new movie, Follow the Line, shows how electricity gets from the power station to your home. Visitors could win a prize by taking part in a quiz based on the film.

- Children 5 to 7 years old will enjoy a screening of Science, Please! funny animated shorts on science-related topics produced by the National Film Board.

- For young people 5 to 14 years old, there's an art contest. Gift sets will be awarded for the three most creative drawings.

- And for younger children, there's a makeup workshop between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., from Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7.
