PG&E to purchase power from Oregon wind farm
The Rattlesnake Road Wind Power Project in Gilliam County, Ore., is currently under construction and is expected to begin operation in the first quarter of 2009. With this agreement, PG&E now has more than 1,213 MW of renewable wind energy under contract or delivered.
"Clean wind power is an integral part of our diverse renewable energy portfolio, which includes hydroelectric, geothermal, solar, wave and biomass resources," says Fong Wan, vice president of energy procurement for PG&E.

TORONTO - To support Ontarians through the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, the Government of Ontario is providing immediate electricity rate relief for families, small businesses and farms paying time-of-use (TOU) rates.
