According to this report on CNET, IKEA is gearing up to sell green products including household solar panels, high-efficiency lighting and efficiency meters. The products would be the fruit of investments made by its 50 million euro GreenTech fund.

Like other retail behemoths, IKEA is putting its best sustainable foot forward, including its line of eco-friendly. pre-fab. pretty-damn-cool BoKlok homes, eliminating noxious chemicals from its product line, hybrid-friendly parking and eventually, eliminating plastic bags from its stores.

ABU DHABI - Abu Dhabi is seeking investors to help build hydrogen-export facilities, as Middle Eastern oil producers plan to adopt cleaner energy, sources told Bloomberg.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is holding talks with energy companies for them to purchase equity stakes in the hydrogen projects, the sources referred.

ADNOC, which already produces hydrogen for its refineries, also aims to enter into long-term supply contracts before making any progress with these investments.
