OEB amends licences to limit coal generation
The licenses of IESO and OPG have been amended to permit OPG to refrain from operating the coal-fired plants continuously, as it would otherwise be obliged to do.

HALIFAX - Nova Scotia is abandoning the proposed Atlantic Loop in its plan to decarbonize its electrical grid by 2030, Natural Resources and Renewables Minister Tory Rushton has announced.
