Conference on Farm Stray Voltage
The event will take place from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel close to the Toronto International Airport at 655 Dixon Road, Toronto, Ontario.
The purpose of the Stakeholder Consultation Conference is to provide interested parties with information regarding OEB's Farm Stray Voltage Consultation, which was initiated in August and included a series of farmer consultation meetings held across the province between late October and early November.
The Stakeholder Consultation Conference agenda will include presentations by consultants hired by the OEB to look into specific aspects of the farm stray voltage issue, a summary of the views and concerns expressed by farmers throughout the consultation, and an overview of next steps in the consultation process.
Those planning to attend should contact the Ontario Energy Board to that effect by Friday, November 30, 2007 by sending an email to Doreen Robinson at fsvconsultation@oeb.gov.on.ca, or by calling the Board's Consumer Relations Centre at 1-877-632-2727 (toll free) or 416-314-2455.
