Two new wind power plants will be built by the municipality of Jindrichovice pod Smrkem, Czech Republic, in May 2003.

Each of them will have an output of 600 kW. The equipment will be bought from Enercon (Czech Republic) for CEK 62 mil. Nearly a half of the cost will be covered by a subsidy from the State Fund for the Environment, 40% will be paid from a loan and 15% will be covered from the municipal budget. The municipality will sell the electricity. It expects the annual proceeds from the electricity sales to come to CEK 6 mil. A half of the sum should be used to cover the installments and other costs, CEK 3 mil should go to the local budget.
