Two undisclosed Canadian electric power generation and distribution equipment manufacturers for are planning to enter Brazil.

The aim is to forge partnerships with Brazilian companies to develop and install such equipment in the country.

Despite the losses registered by the segment in Brazil, the Canadian companies believe the country a promising market.

Those partnerships, as well as the investments of Brascan and Magna in Brazil, are part of Ontario province' plan of finding new partners to expand exports to other countries as 93 per cent of its exports are directed at the US.
