GE strikes service deal for Romanian reactor

General Electric and Nuclearelectrica forged a services agreement worth $146 million for the Cernavoda nuclear power plant in Romania.

The eight-year contract includes full maintenance and repair work for the GE steam turbine generators and auxiliary equipment at the plant.
