Nebraska business announces more layoffs

Lester Electrical has announced another round of layoffs.

Mike Schukar, president of the Lincoln-based company, says 38 full-time workers were laid off recently.

That's on top of the 40 workers who were laid off in December.

Schukar says the company is seeing fewer sales, prompting the layoffs.

Lester manufactures industrial battery chargers and other electrical products. Its current workforce is about 230 people.
