Tallman Equipment is an employee-owned company and has served the electrical transmission and distribution industry for over 70 years. We offer a comprehensive range of services to linemen, including new tool sales, rentals, ground and jumper set manufacturing, transformer sling production, and expert testing and repair.  

Tallman carries a wide selection of the best tools and equipment from the top brands in the utility industry.  

Our rental inventory includes stringing blocks, ground and jumper sets, battery powered cutting and crimping tools, fiberglass hot arms, hoists, dynamometers, rubber goods, and more.  

The Tallman Assembly Department custom-builds ground and jumper sets as well as performing dielectric testing and repair on used grounds and jumpers.  

Our rope department specializes in transformer sling assemblies as well as rope splicing and custom rope solutions.  

Our repair department services all tools commonly used in the utility industry including hydraulic, pneumatic, gas, and battery-powered equipment, stringing blocks, dynamometers, and mechanical hoists. 

Tallman offers complete repair and reconditioning of fiberglass tools, including hot sticks, conductor and support gins, ladders, extension arms, shotgun sticks, and more.  

The Tallman Rubber Lab cleans and performs dielectric testing on rubber gloves, blankets, sleeves, and other rubber goods and cover-up. All testing is done in accordance to ASTM standards.
