A number of people recently reported having received suspicious phone calls from persons claiming to be Hydro-Québec employees. These individuals are using Hydro-Québec's name illegally.

These so-called representatives try to obtain personal information, sell energy-saving products that are not endorsed by Hydro-Québec and ask questions about our customers' consumption habits.

Customers who receive such phone calls should write down as much information as possible. An investigation is currently under way.

Hydro-Québec urges the public to be vigilant and refrain from disclosing personal information.
