Through the use of Aerial LiDAR data collection technology, WIRE Services will assess 132.7 miles of single and double circuit transmission lines in the utility’s service territory. The survey analysis will provide the utility with new plans and profiles in connection with its vintage circuit replacement program.

With 1.6 million gas customers and 2 million electric customers, PSE&G also offers energy efficient programs and other utility-related products and services. It has received the ReliabilityOne Award for superior electric system reliability in the Mid-Atlantic region for the third consecutive year.
WIRE Services is a combined initiative between Manitoba Hydro (Canada’s 4th largest utility) and Calgary-based LiDAR Services International (LSI) providing Aerial LiDAR data collection and transmission line analysis services to the North American utility market since 2001.
