Hertz to offer EV rentals
Hertz has an agreement with Nissan to bring the Nissan Leaf electric car to certain U.S. and European locations. Hertz said it also will supply electrics and plug-in hybrids from other manufacturers, including General Motors, Toyota and Mitsubishi.
Hertz, which has the most airport car-rental locations worldwide, said it is uniquely positioned to introduce drivers to plug-in hybrids and all-electric vehicles.
Park Ridge, N.J.-based Hertz Global Holdings Inc. made the announcement at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York.

REGINA - The NDP Opposition is condemning the provincial government’s decision to approve the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel’s recommendation to increase SaskPower’s rates for the first time since 2018.
The Crown electrical utility’s rates will increase four per cent this fall, and another four per cent in 2023.
