Solar Power Industries Inc. is based in Rostraver and already has about 250 employees.

The company needs production and manufacturing workers at its headquarters and at a plant in East Huntingdon Township, both in Westmoreland County.

The company has received $7.5 million in state aid for the plant and hopes to create 375 jobs over the next three years.

The company makes solar cells, silicon ingots and solar modules used to turn sunlight into electric energy.
