Allegheny Power moves forward with Transmission HQ
Allegheny has selected Omni Associates of Fairmont as the architectural and engineering firm for the new building.
Allegheny also purchased a 9.5-acre parcel of land in the I-79 High Technology Park from the West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation.
Allegheny expects to start construction of an environmentally friendly building in 2009, with completion expected in mid-2011. Approximately 150 new positions will be brought to the region with the new facility, which will serve as the center for AlleghenyÂ’s multi-state transmission functions.

SaskPower reports $205M income in 2019-20, tables annual report
REGINA - SaskPower presented its annual report on Monday, with a net income of $205 million in 2019-20.
This figure shows an increase of $8 million from 2018-19.
