Biomass conversion planned for idled coal plant
Pacific Gas and Electric Co. PG&E would then purchase the power from DTE Energy.
DTE, the parent company of Detroit Edison, said it plans to purchase the plant, the Port of Stockton District Energy Facility from a unit of FPL Group Inc.
The plant would be connected to the PG&E power grid and existing cooling towers.

Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) had invited tenders for supply of 500 MW power from India for short term (1 June, 2018 to 31 December, 2019) and long term (1 January, 2020 to 31 May, 2033).
